In June 2022, we published an open access Special Issue on Contemporary wild meat hunting, consumption and trade in Africa, in the African Journal of Ecology. The issue was co-edited by WILDMEAT researchers Christian Mikolo Yobo, Donald Midoko Iponga, Lauren Coad and Daniel J. Ingram. It contains 18 papers, with a focus on research aiming to inform wild meat policy and practice.
